Although this seems like my first post, I deleted some previous short ones that were not worth the reading time. LOL.
School's just around the corner, and what do we have to end the summer? Parties. Math team parties, birthday parties, etc... What's the world coming to? I mean, not to complain, because parties are fun, but whatever happened to the end of summer 'relaxation and recuperance' time? It just seems to bug me a little bit.
I've started a new project in math/programming/cryptography for this school year: to make a program that converts text into a nonrandom sounding melody. Java seemed the tool for this, as it is one of my best programming languages, but also the nice thing about Java is that, at least from my point of view, easier to remember than C or C++. That's just me. Complete code will be posted as soon as I get to v1 from v.5, if anybody is interested...
One thing that has been bothering me lately is summer homework from two of my classes. Multivariable Calc required some summer homework which turned out to be a repeat of the year before's summer homework, and for my English class I was forced to write 5 papers on three novels, namely Invisible Man, Twelfth Night, and All The King's Men. 5 papers and some math may not seem bad for the summer, but with the level of tediousness and the amount of other things there were to do made me cram it and save it for the week before school. So that was one of the only sucky parts of summer.
Summer vacation is almost over. Darn.
